Patient Journey: A cancer patient from the Czech Republic
I have been undergoing treatment with Prof. Drevs for 18 months now, after doctors diagnosed me with breast cancer with metastases in my lymph nodes, peritoneum, entire skeleton, and dura mater. After the diagnosis, the doctors at the hospital informed me that I had a few months, at most a few dozen months, to live and that my condition will rapidly deteriorate. I was also in contact with other private clinics and doctors in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, so I had the opportunity to compare different approaches. Finally I decided to undergo treatment at Unifontis. The main reasons for my decision were that, unlike other doctors, Prof. Drevs showed me that, based on scientific studies and experiences, there was a chance for improvement and a cure. His priority was to propose such therapies that would have as few side effects as possible and the least impact on reducing immunity, which is essential for fighting cancer cells. After consulting with Prof. Drevs, I got the impression that he was genuinely interested in improving my health, did not make unrealistic promises, and had extensive medical experience and knowledge.
I do not regret my decision. Treatment is carried out as a collaboration between the physician and the client, with the physician explaining the options for further treatment, their advantages, disadvantages, or side effects, and the client deciding on the further therapeutic plan. The therapeutic plan is modified as needed during regular consultations. The treatment includes therapies that have had good results based on the latest scientific studies, in which Prof. Drevs also participates.
The treatment does not end after several weeks of intensive therapy, as is common in many clinics, which then have no further information about the client and therefore no feedback on the success of the therapy. This has been my experience at other clinics. I have been undergoing treatment with Prof. Drevs for 18 months, the findings have gone into remission, and treatment is still ongoing, with the therapeutic plan being modified according to the situation.
A disease that has developed over many years cannot usually be eliminated in a few weeks of therapy. I believe that it is possible to overcome the disease, but it is necessary to change the way of thinking and lifestyle once and for all.
